This Order amends the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions (No. 2) Order and the Document which was given legal effect by that Order, in order to replace several incorrect entries in the pay spine for members of the leadership group and the pay scale for unqualified teachers.

The Order also inserts two definitions which appeared in the Document and were mistakenly omitted from the. This Order amends the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document to take account of the provisions of the Education (Teachers) Regulations and to give effect to recommendations of the Interim Advisory Committee on School Teachers' Pay and Conditions relating to licensed teachers and to the retrospective award of qualified teacher status which could not be implemented until those.
